IT Officer

The IT Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all computer systems, and providing technical support to all employees. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data and systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT services
• Install and configure software and hardware as needed
• Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and user manuals
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support Technician, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies
• Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Proficiency in networking protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with cloud services and solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus
